I was asked to create a work for the sensory garden at Smidsrød health center outside the geriatric ward. The result was a birdbath where the main element in the decoration is porcelain fragments from cups, dishes and bowls. I have chosen to use the porcelain shards taken from the last 100 years because I want to build bridges between time and let the viewer be able to find references to his own life through the materials.
