RAM gallery is an exhibition space for visual art, crafts and textile art. It is funded by an annual support from the Arts Council Norway. The gallery was founded in 1989 by the Society of Fine Art Photographers, KORO, Norwegian Textile Artists, and The Norwegian Association for Arts and Crafts.The gallery is dedicated to show visual contemporary art, craft and textile art. Organised as a non-profit project space to give room for more experimental contemporary artistic activity, with its main focus on larger projects/installations, but also projects of shorter durability as performance, sound art and concerts. The program is based on artistic competence, societal engagement and collaborations with external national and international partners.
A selection of artists from the exhibition program in 2017 will present new works, video, ceramic sculpture and textile art. Anne Thomassen, Anne Biringvad, Aleksander Andreassen and Johan Urban Bergquist.
